How to choose the running stitch, satin stitch and connection stitch?
Star Lapel Pin has three stitch options for custom embroidered patches. The running stitch is a basic stitch in hand-sewing and embroidery which commonly used for tiny details design such as letters or numbers on patches. Compared with satin stitch, this technique would be clearly visible.
A satin stitch is a flat stitch that are used to add colors and fill up shapes to embroideries. Although the satin stitch makes alphabets clearly visible, each letter should be at least 3 mm in height and width.
Generally speaking, there is a connection stitch between two letters. For the perfect and the attractive appearance, most of our customers prefer to eliminate it.
